How to Order

The following is an easy-to-follow guide that takes you step-by-step through ordering online from us.

Selecting What You Want

Start by browsing through the Our Products menu in the side bar, or the Products page. From there you will see a list of products. You can either click the Add To Cart button, or click More Info which will take to a more detailed page about the product. If you like what you see, just click Add To Cart.

You can browse the site as much as you like before you place your order; our software will remember all of the items that you have chosen. When you are ready to order, follow the Shopping Cart link at the top or side of any page.

The Shopping Cart

On the Shopping Cart page, review the quantity for each item. If you decide that you do not want a specific item, simply check the box at the end of the product row and then the red Delete button. Bam! it's outta there. Make sure you update the shopping cart total by clicking the Update Totals button at the bottom.

Customer Loyalty Points

If you are a Tillamook Country Smoker customer with an account, you can now gain loyalty points as of October 16, 2012.

You may already have corralled some. If so, the dropdown menu in your shopping cart has appeared with two options:

  • Redeem Loyalty Points
  • Save Points for Later

That's right! These babies can be used on your next order just like Cold, Hard Cash! Or, save them up and order a motherload of meat snacks later.

Either way, for every $10.00 of product ordered, you will receive 5000 points, (500 for each dollar). So, when you've gathered, say, 10,000 points from previous orders, you can redeem them and save a $1.00 off your next $20 order.

For you math geeks out there, that's a 5% ongoing discount, just for ordering again from the Smoker!

Previewing Cost

Your Savings and Subtotal are available to you on the Shopping Cart page as well as the Shipping Estimate. Also, you can preview using your Loyalty Points, if you have an account set up.

Because there is no sales tax in the state of Oregon, none will be added to your total. You may change the quantities, if you like, and update cart by pressing Update Totals until you are happy with your order. When you are happy with your order press Checkout.

Checkout Process

Billing and Shipping Information

Once you select Checkout, you will be directed to the Customer Details page. Enter your billing and shipping information. All fields with an "*" next to it are required, and you will not be able to place your order until they are complete. If your billing address and shipping address are the same, fill in only the billing information.

If you have a coupon or discount number don't forget to fill in the bottom field for even better savings.

Selecting Delivery Method

We currently offer UPS and USPS shipping options. Choose the one depending on how hungry you are. There is a hitch, during our "Free Shipping" promo (see below) that we run twice a year, Free Shipping ONLY applies to UPS Ground delivery.

Shipping Times

I know that quite a few customers are wondering how soon that they would receive their orders and how soon it would ship. Well, we will ship all orders on the next business day after we receive the order. As for the day you will receive your order, we are located on the extreme coast of Oregon and it seems like anything takes forever to get to the destination. We will send out a email to you from UPS that gives the Tracking Number and approximate delivery date with every order, (that is if the email we receive is correct).

Delivery Tips

Length of delivery is based on real days. Packages can be left without a signature. Deliveries may occasionally be subject to weather holds so that your selections are not damaged by extreme temperatures. Delays of up to a week may result.

Free Shipping Promo

Throughout the year we offer Free Shipping. I usually run this special from June 1st through August 31st and again on November 1st through December 31st. During this promo, ONLY UPS Ground deliveries are eligible for free shipping. Orders need to be over $45 to get Free Shipping.

Deliveries made using USPS WILL incur a shipping charge after your order is placed. The USPS shipping charge is the published rate as posted by USPS, we don't add anything to it. We charge the shipping amount to your credit card at a later date. I know this "bites" but USPS is too expensive, so try not to use USPS if you don't have to.

Payment Information

Once you have chosen your shipment preference you can click the checkout button again and your order will switch to our secure commerce server. The secure server will allow you to transmit credit card and other confidential information in an encrypted form for safety. You are now ready to to enter your Credit Card information.

Enter the card number and expiration date for the credit card with which you would like to make the purchase. The click the Checkout button ONCE. It may take a moment as it connects with the secure server.

If you prefer to place your order over the phone, the order information on this page will be required to process your order. Call us at our toll-free number 1 (800) 325-2220 ext. 111 between the hours of 5 A.M. - 2 P.M. (Pacific Time) to complete your order.

Receiving Your Confirmation Number

Once you have approved your order and entered your credit card information, click the Checkout button one last time. You will then see a new page confirming your order with an Authorization Code.

If you do not see the Authorization Code, your order has not been placed. In place of the Authorization Code you will see an error message. Please go back and correct the indicated problem and then click Checkout again.

All that's left is to Click to Confirm Order and View Receipt button.

Order Confirmation

That last click will take you to the Thank you page showing your receipt. You can print it out for your records. In addition you will also receive confirmation by email that your order was placed.
