This position installs, maintains, repairs and improves plant equipment and facilities to ensure production schedule attainment. Also strives to continuously improve the production environment. This position is responsible for supervising production employees to ensure an optimal balance of quality, service and efficiency in order to achieve operational excellence, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Manages all purchasing activities and establishes strategic purchasing processes and procedures. Maintains relationship with vendors or suppliers and negotiates contracts for major purchases. Evaluates and analyzes purchasing trend and price trend to identify forecasting demand and minimize purchasing costs. Typically requires a bachelor’s degree. Typically reports to a senior manager. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.
Our organization is searching for a dynamic Production Manager to take on the responsibility of overseeing plant activities in order to meet business objectives. The successful candidate will be accountable for all aspects of plant performance, participate in continuous improvement and will ensure that objectives are attained in a cost-effective manner that’s consistent with quality requirements. He or she will also delegate authority to key supervisors in production, manage all functions involved and direct and coordinate operations for the processing plant.
The Human Resources & Payroll Generalist is a key support role that is responsible for the functional day-to-day administration of all personnel matters. In addition, this role will be responsible to collect and process hourly and salaried multi-state payroll. Complete certified payrolls, as well as other governmental compliance reports, on a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Reconcile accounts and participate in general accounting responsibilities such as month end closings and journal entry uploads.
