SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage warehouse functions
  • Oversees shipping area team members.
  • Coordinates with display personnel.
  • Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on pallets, racks or shelves.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or carts, or conveys orders to shipping department.
  • Marks materials with identifying information.
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Uses computer to enter records.
  • Operates pallet jacks or forklifts to transport items from warehouse to other locations in the plant or to pick up items from several locations in plant for shipment.
  • Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
  • Prepares parcels for shipping.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent Excel skills including power pivot
  • Demonstrated work experience warehouse management
  • A minimum of 3 years demonstrated supervisory experience
  • A high degree of integrity and personal ethics in implementing corporate policies and procedures.
  • Creative self-starter who has demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
